Mechanical Earth Drill
Little Beaver’s Mechanical Earth Drills are a safe and productive solution for one-man hole digging. Operating at speeds up to 360 rpm, the drills are faster and produce cleaner holes than comparable units, while our torque tube protects operators from dangerous drill kickback. The Mechanical Earth Drill’s compact design allows for access to areas unreachable with skid steer-mounted augers. These drills are ideal for a range of landscaping projects, including fence installation and shrub planting.

Hydraulic Earth Drill
Little Beaver’s Hydraulic Earth Drills match high-horsepower engines with the convenience of hydraulic drives to drill efficiently and effectively in tough soil conditions. At 150 rpm, the drills offer controlled and precise speed as well as higher torque than our mechanical drills, making them ideal for landscaping projects requiring larger holes or those in heavy, rocky or frozen soils. Integrated forward/reverse levers provide safety and convenience, and allow operators to easily remove the augers if they’re caught under an obstruction, such as a rock or tree root. The drills also feature a steel torque tube, eliminating the risk of dangerous auger kickback during operation.
Towable and UN-Towable Earth Drills
Little Beaver’s Towable and UN-Towable Hydraulic Earth Drills combine safe and powerful drilling for a variety of landscaping applications. Their balanced frame reduces operation weight by roughly 50 percent compared to traditional hydraulic drills and requires less than 20 pounds of force to pivot into digging position. The compact drills are designed for ease of use and transportation, on and off the jobsite. The Towable is transported using a removable no-tools towing hitch while the UN-Towable features a slide-in receiver hitch. Additionally, the UN-Towable’s power source is removable, allowing one operator to easily load and unload the drill.

Kwik-Trench Mini Trencher
Our Kwik-Trench Mini Trencher features a simple, push-forward design that’s fast, easy to use and economical for a range of projects, such as installing sprinkler lines and landscape lighting. Its compact size allows operators to get into tight spaces and complete jobs quickly with a cutting speed of up to 30 feet per minute. It minimizes turf damage and deposits soil neatly on one side of the trench for quick and easy backfill.
Accessories

Augers
Little Beaver offers snap-on augers in 13 diameter sizes ranging from 1.5 to 16 inches. They feature a convenient, spring-loaded snap button that secures the auger to the drill head without the need for pins or bolts, allowing operators to quickly change between sizes for drilling a narrow mailbox post hole to planting shrubs. Their heavy-duty flighting and replaceable/reversible blades maximize durability and ROI. We also offer heavy-duty options for rocky or abrasive soils.

Horizontal Boring Kits
Horizontal boring kits make boring under sidewalks and driveways easier than ever. They allow installation of shallow water and electrical lines without disturbing the concrete slab. The Sidewalk Boring Kit is a dry drilling system that is capable of boring up to 5 feet under sidewalks. The Driveway Boring Kit is a wet drilling system that’s ideal for boring up to 50 feet under driveways or parking lots. These kits pair with our Mechanical Earth Drill.
